Kano Computing and the New England School Library Association, is excited to invite you to a webinar titled Kano in the School Library: Developing Digital Literacy on Wednesday 20th March at 4:00 – 5:00pm.

Did you know that there are over 20 billion computers in the world, but only a few people, less than the 1% of the 1% can understand them, shape them? At Kano, we think people of all ages should be able to understand and create technology. We must make computing and code harnessable – by normal people, with the right tools.

Our kits demystify technology and help you learn to code with simple steps, coupled with a dedicated curriculum and professional development portal. Check out some of our education success stories.

Kano kits are used in over 4000 education institutions around the world and we are a flagship partner of the Department of Housing and Urban Development's ConnectHome initiative in which we’ve helped close the digital gap in over 30 public housing communities.

We want to do more and believe that together with school libraries we can empower a new generation of students to create with technology and not just consume it. We are looking forward to introducing Kano's award-winning range of coding kits and how best these kits can be implemented into school library programs through a range of curriculum resources.
